UX Designer based in Phoenix, AZ that loves problem solving and creating minimal, efficient, user-centered designs.
What's up? I'm Jerry!
I’m a lifelong tech enthusiast with a passion for problem-solving and design. Whether it’s building custom PCs, tweaking home automation setups, or diving into the latest in mirrorless cameras, I’ve always been drawn to how technology enhances our lives.
My Journey Through Tech & UX
For eight years, I worked in technical support and IT, spending the last three in the fast-moving world of autonomous vehicles. It was an incredible experience—getting hands-on with cutting-edge technology before the public even knew it existed. But as exciting as AV tech was, I found myself craving something more creative and impactful.
That’s when I stumbled across UX design. One random Twitter post about “100K salary tech jobs without a degree” sent me down a rabbit hole. I had no idea what UX was, but I was intrigued. Fast forward a year, a Google UX Design Certificate, and countless hours of learning later—here I am, designing intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
What I Love About UX
I consider myself a UX generalist, but my real passion lies in wireframing and prototyping—turning ideas into interactive, seamless experiences. I love stripping away complexity to create clean, efficient, and user-centered designs that just work.
Beyond the Screen
When I’m not deep in Figma, you’ll probably find me on the soccer field (my first love), under the hood of a car or debating whether spending my last dime on car mods was actually a good idea (spoiler: it was).
Let’s Build Something Awesome
I’m always looking for exciting new challenges in the world of UX. If you’re looking for a designer who’s equal parts tech-savvy, problem-solver, and creative thinker—let’s connect!
